This year, the 4th Dr. Abdus Salam Science Fair Calgary will be held on Sunday November 29, 2015 - 9 AM at Baitun Nur, 4353 54 Ave NE, Calgary, AB T3J.

Project registration for the Abdus Salam Science Fair 2015, Calgary is closed now.

 The main aims and objectives of the ASSF are:

  • Create awareness and interest of Science in Students of grade 5 to grade 12, College/University
  • Provide a platform for students to exhibit their skills, ideas and ambitions
  • To encourage students to take up science as a career
  • To pay homage to Dr. Abdus Salam, one of the greatest scientists of our time


The Science Fair is open to all Students of Grade 5 to Grade 12 and College/University students.

 

Competitions are grouped based on the following:

  • Al-Khwarizmi: Boys Grade 5-8
  • Ibn al-Haytham: Boys Grade 9-12
  • Abu Ali Sina: Girls Grade 5-8
  • Jabir ibn Hayyan: Girls 9-12

 

NOTE : The younger students ( Grade 4 and under ) will also be rewarded prizes.

Enter your Experimental Projects, Models, Demonstrations etc. and win fabulous prizes! There is no fee to enter the competition.
